Notice is hereby given that the Council and the City of San Diego will consider an ordinances pursuant to Section 99 of the Charter of the City of San Diego authorizing the Mayor or his designee to execute a first Amendment to Agreement with Roesling Nakamura Terada Architects, Inc for the Architectural and Design Services for the La Jolla Shores Lifeguard Station to increase this contract by $75,000.00; and Authorize the expenditure of $75,000 from CIP # S-00790, La Jolla Shores Lifeguard Station, for the purpose of executing this first amendment to the agreement, contingent upon the City Comptroller first certifying fund availability. Consideration of the ordinance will take place at the regular City Council meeting on January 05, 2010, in the City Administration Building, council chambers, 12th floor, 202 C Street San Diego CA 92101. A complete copy of the ordinance is available for inspection in the office of the City clerk of the City of San Diego, City Administration Building 2nd floor, 202 C Street San Diego CA 92101.

As a property owner, tenant or person who has requested notice, you should know that the Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to approve, conditionally approve, or deny an application for a Wireless Communication Facility (WCF) consisting of an existing 75-foot tall tower structure with four omni antennas reaching a total height of 85 feet. 18 (eighteen) panel antennas are located within the tower behind radio-frequency transparent screening. An additional band of screening will be installed under the community identification signage. Equipment associated with the antennas is located within the existing office building on site. A previously approved clock tower would be removed as part of this project, as it was utilized for communication antennas, but is no longer in use. This facility is located at 3875 Swift Avenue in the CC-5-4 zone.
The decision of the Planning Commission is final unless the project is appealed to the City Council. In order to appeal the decision of the Planning Commission you must be present at the public hearing and file a speaker slip concerning the application or have expressed interest by writing to the Planning Commission before the close of the public hearing. See Information Bulletin 505 “Appeal Procedure”, available at www.sandiego.gov/development-services or in person at the office of the City Clerk, 202 "C" Street, Second Floor. The appeal must be made within 10 working days of the Planning Commission decision. If you wish to challenge the City's action on the above proceedings in court, you may be limited to addressing only those issues you or someone else have raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or written in correspondence to the City at or before the public hearing.
This project was determined to be categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act on April 10, 2009 and the opportunity to appeal that determination ended April 24, 2009.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of San Diego will receive bids for work at the Purchasing and Contracting Department, Contracts Division, 1200 Third Avenue, Suite 200, San Diego, California, where bids are to be submitted prior to time specified.  Plans and specifications can be obtained from The City of San Diego’s website: http://www.sandiego.gov/bids-contracts. A pre-bid meeting and/or pre-bid visit to the work site will be held, if indicated, at the time and place specified in the contract documents.  Prospective bidders are encouraged to attend these sessions.
