Requesting Sub-bids from Qualified DBE, DVBE, MBE, WBE, SBE, OBE (but not limited to) for the following trades: Surveying, Demolition, Traffic Control, Grading, SWPPP, Shoring, Wet Utilities, and Masonry. State prevailing wages required. Bid solicitation is for specific trades listed above only. All Subcontractors are required to adhere to ROEL's pre-qualification process, which is project specific for 15th & Commercial. Submittal of financial statement, letter from your bonding company, and Special Insurance Assessment from your insurance agent is required. A Payment & Performance Bond may be required. ROEL will negotiate with any pre-qualified firms and is an E.O.E. / A.A. Bid date is January 21st and is only open to pre-qualified bidders. JOB ORDER CONTRACT (JOC) GENERAL ELECTRICAL, TRAFFIC SIGNAL AND COMMUNICATIONS

The San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG), 401 B Street, Suite 800, San Diego, CA  92101-4231, is requesting sealed bids to perform the work, in general, as follows:
The work items contained in the contract consist, in general, of general electrical, communication, and traffic signalization and synchronization systems.  Bidders shall have a valid A or C10 license issued by State of California Contractor’s Licensing Board and shall submit sufficient information to demonstrate experience complying with the SANDAG Board Policy 24 experience and financial requirements.  At a minimum the successful contractor shall have, in the last ten years, at least two years of experience as a prime contractor self performing work on general electrical, communications, or traffic signaling systems or any combination of these three areas of work.   The intent of this contract is to perform work outside of Railroad Right of Way, but does not prohibit SANDAG from issuing work to the Contractor located within 100 feet of Railroad Right of Way.
Minimum Contract Value: $40,000
Maximum Contract Value (3 Years): $10,000,000

This contract may be funded in part with Federal Transit Administration (FTA), Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and/or American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funding.  The FHWA race conscious Underutilized Disadvantage Business Enterprise (UDBE) goal for this project is 5.42%.
