As a property owner, tenant or person who has requested notice, you should know that the Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to recommend approval, conditional approval, or denial to the City Council of Vesting Tentative Map with a 60 foot Public Right-of-Way Street (PROW) Vacation, and Planned Development Permit, to subdivide 2.2 vacant acres into thirteen lots, located on the north side of Carmel Valley Road, in the 6800 block, approximately 750 feet from Rancho Santa Fe Farms Road, APN No. 305-021-07, and construct nine (9) single family residences with proposed deviations to development regulations. The site is in the RS-1-14 zone within the Pacific Highlands Ranch Community Plan area. In addition, the Planning Commission will decide whether to recommend that findings be made to rely on a previously certified Master Environmental Impact Report.
The decision to approve, conditionally approve, modify or deny the Vesting Tentative Map with PROW Vacation and Planned Development Permit and findings for the Master Environmental Impact Report will be made by the City Council at a future public hearing. You will also receive a notice of the City Council public hearing.
This project is within the scope of a Master Environmental Impact Report No. 96-7918, Certified on July 28, 1999. This Master Environmental Impact Report adequately describes the activity for the purposes of CEQA.
