A draft Mitigated Negative Declaration has been prepared by the City of San Diego Land Development Review Division for the project listed below. Written comments regarding the adequacy of this Draft Mitigated Negative Declaration must be received by the Land Development Review Division at the address below by, January 28, 2003. This notice was/will be published in the SAN DIEGO DAILY TRANSCRIPT and distributed on January 9, 2003.
SUBJECT: A-1 Self Storage. SITE DEVELOPMENT PERMIT No. 3561 for the demolition of two single-story commercial buildings situated on 6.29-acre site and construction of one, four-story, 256,200-square-foot self-storage building. The site development permit would allow for deviations to increase the floor area ratio from 1.0 to 1.43 and reduce the parking space requirements from 300 to 127 spaces. The project is located at 4696 and 4698 Alvarado Canyon Road in the IL-3-1 zone of the Navajo Community Plan area (Parcel 1 of PM 18093). Applicant: Terrence R. Caster, Caster Family Trust.

This recommended finding that the project will not have a significant effect on the environment is based on project revisions/conditions which now mitigate potentially significant environmental impacts in the area(s) of Hydrology/Water Quality, and on an Environmental Initial Study conducted by the City. The draft Mitigated Negative Declaration, Initial Study, and supporting documents may be reviewed, or purchased for the cost of reproduction, at the office of the Land Development Review Division, 1222 First Avenue, Fifth Floor, San Diego, CA 92101.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the City of San Diego will receive bids for commodities and services. Bid packages can be downloaded from the City of San Diego's Bid & Contract Opportunities web page, found at http://www.sandiego.gov under the Business section.
If you are unable to utilize the online option, bid packages can be requested by calling the Purchasing Division at (619) 236-6000.
Bids must be submitted on City of San Diego bid forms which are included in the bid packages. Submit completed bid packages to City of San Diego Purchasing Division, 1200 Third Avenue, San Diego, California 92101-4195 on or prior to the time specified.
A pre bid meeting and/or pre bid visit to the work site will be held, if indicated, at the time and place specified in the contract documents. Prospective bidders are encouraged to attend these sessions.
