NOTICE TO BIDDERS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Grossmont Union High School District of San Diego County, California, acting by and through its Governing Board, hereinafter referred to as the DISTRICT will receive up to, but not later than 2:00 o'clock p.m. the 26th of January, 2012, sealed bids for the award of a contract for Lower Emissions School Bus Program Retrofit Project, GU-12.01R.FLTR
Each bid shall be submitted on a form obtained at the Purchasing Department of said District. Bids may be mailed via U.S. mail to: 1100 Murray Drive, El Cajon, CA. 92020-5664 or delivered Fed Ex, UPS, or other courier to the above address. Bid results will be posted at: http://portal.guhsd.net/index.php/nonconstructionbids
Each bid must conform and be responsive to this invitation, the Information for Bidders, the Specifications, and all other documents comprising the pertinent Contract Documents. Copies of the Contract Documents are now on file and may be obtained in the office of the Director of Purchasing at the above address.
The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder meeting specifications. The Grossmont Union High School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept or reject any one or more items of a bid or to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bids or in the bidding.
No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of bids.
In the event of identical bids, the Governing Board may determine by lot which bid shall be accepted per Public Contract Code 20127.

RAINBOW MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
ALTERNATE WATER SOURCE FEASIBILITY STUDY

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Rainbow Municipal Water District is soliciting proposals from qualified civil engineering firms for the Alternate Water Source Feasibility Study.
The intent of the study shall be to assess the feasibility, including costs and funding sources, of a parallel water system for domestic water supply, and utilizing “alternate” water such as Untreated Metropolitan Water District water, local groundwater or reclaimed water, thoroughly evaluate alternative water source and analyze the pros and cons of the sources, develop high-level action plans for obtaining the more likely sources, analyze the possible funding sources and staging of a parallel system.
