Notice to Proposers
The San Ysidro School District (District) is considering issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Architectural/Engineering Services for the Ocean View Hills Middle School / Interim K-8 School.
This solicitation is for Letters of Interest and a Brief Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from firms interested in receiving the full RFP once the Board of Education authorizes the issuance of the RFP at the next scheduled Board Meeting.
The District reserves the right to only issue the full RFP to firms responding to this solicitation. Firms interested in being placed on this list must submit the following:
1. A Letter of Interest (not exceeding 2 pages)
2. Statement of Qualifications (not exceeding 5 pages) demonstrating that firm:
a. has capacity to start immediately and handle a tight timeline
b. has experience working with Program/Project Managers
c. has experience working with site adaptable plans
3. 4 K-12 School References
e deadline for submittals is Tuesday, November 4, 2003 at 3:00 PM at the offices of the Department of Business Services, 4350 Otay Mesa Road, San Ysidro, California, 92173-9355.

Sealed bids are being invited for Removal of Twelve (12) Palm Trees on Coast Boulevard and Other Palm Tree Maintenance in accordance with specifications.
Bids will be received until 2:00 p.m., November 17, 2003 at City Hall, 1050 Camino Del Mar, Del Mar, CA., Attn: City Clerk, (Mailed bids must be delivered by postal carrier to City Clerk, 1050 Camino Del Mar, Del Mar, CA 92014 and must be received by 2 PM), and will be publicly opened and read in City Hall Annex, by the City Clerk.
The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to reject any item in a bid unless an "all or none" basis is specified or to waive any informality or technicality in the bids received. NOTICE OF PREQUALIFICATION PROCESS
SPRINTER LIGHT RAIL PROJECT
Notice is hereby given that the NCTD will pre-qualify only construction firms possessing an "A" license in advance of the issuance of IFB documents for the construction of the sprinter light rail line project. This process will conducted in two parts; the initial pre-qualification period that begins with this advertisement and the secondary pre-qualification that will be allowed after IFB notices are advertised. Contractors have the option of of completing the prequalification documents during either period but only need to submit documents once. Due to FTA requirements, firms are allowed to pre-qualify during the bid process up to a reasonable deadline established by NCTD prior to the bid due date. Bids will only be accepted by firms deemed qualified by NCTD prior to bid opening.
The preferred method of distributing the pre-qualification documents is by email. Please submit your request for the documents by email to the attention of Larry Frum, Manager of Contracts and Procurement at LFrum@nctd.org. The documents are also available from the NCTD Contracts and Procurement Department Office at 810 Mission Avenue, Oceanside, CA 92054 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. or by faxing your request to (760)722-8087.
