Effective November 1, 2008 plans and specifications, and addenda for major (>$250,000) City of San Diego Public Works Construction Contracts, including Design/Build, will only be available on-line. Hard copy plans and specifications, and addenda will no longer be made available. Plans and specifications, and addenda will be available on-line via the City's link to E-Bidboard. Interested parties will be able to access plans and specifications, and addenda at:

Select “Bids & Contracts”
Select “For convenience, City construction specifications, plans, addenda & plan holders list are available on E-Bidboard.”
Select “City Projects on Ebidboard”
Select project.
Select the desired document name.
Select “Click here to be added as a document holder”. (Note: You must be a registered document holder to receive official updates and notices on projects.)
Once registered the desired contract documents may be downloaded.
All firms interested in major City of San Diego Public Works Construction Contracts should make note of this change and the effective date. Plan Rooms will also need to download desired contract files from the link provided above.
Bids/Proposal must be submitted using only the bidding/proposal documents issued with the contract documents. Electronic bid/proposal submittals will not be accepted.

Notice of Intent to Modify Floodway

The City of San Diego Engineering and Capital Projects Department, in accordance with the National Flood Insurance Program regulation 65.7 (b)(1), hereby gives notice of the City's intent to revise the Encanto Branch of South Las Chollas Creek Channel floodway, generally located near Euclid Avenue and Market Street. Specifically, the floodway shall be revised from the Euclid Avenue Bridge to approximately 850 feet upstream of the Euclid Avenue Bridge. As a result of the floodway revision, the floodway shall widen and narrow with a maximum widening of 50 feet at a point approximately 480 feet upstream of the Euclid Avenue Bridge and a maximum narrowing of 20 feet at a point approximately 800 feet upstream of the Euclid Avenue Bridge.

PLEASE ACCEPT THIS AS A NOTICE TO INFORM YOU, as a property owner, tenant or interested citizen, that the Council of The City of San Diego, California will conduct a public hearing, as part of a scheduled City Council meeting, on the following project:
Matter of approving, conditionally approving, modifying or denying an application for an Extension of Time for Site Development Permit No. 48083 for a period of three years and, a Stay (“tolling”) on the expiration of Site Development Permit No. 48083 for an additional five year period (for a total of eight years to expire in April 2015) for the Park Boulevard Promenade Project originally approved by the City Council in April 2004. The Park Boulevard Promenade Project included amendments to the Central Mesa Precise Plan and the Balboa Park Master Plan to implement future improvements to Balboa Park including but not limited to a four-level underground parking structure, new Zoo exhibit space, relocation of the historic Carousel and Miniature Train, modifications to historic boundaries and, a new surface parking lot for employees on Richmond Street.
The decision of the City Council is final.

Time allotted to each speaker is determined by the Chair and, in general, is limited to three (3) minutes; moreover, collective testimony by those in support or opposition shall be limited to no more than fifteen (15) minutes total per side.
