The County of San Diego, Owner, invites bids for CONSTRUCTION OF IN-PAVEMENT LIGHTING SYSTEMS AT COUNTY CROSSWALKS; ORACLE PROJECT NO. 1018406; BID No. 6209.

Sealed bids will be received at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, at 5560 Overland Avenue, Ste. 270, San Diego, 92123, until 2:00 PM on November 26, 2013, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Contract documents including Plans, Specifications and Bid Forms are available for download on the County Buynet site: http://buynet.sdcounty.ca.gov.You must be registered at the site in order to download documents. The Contractor shall possess, at the time of submitting the bid, a California contractor's license, Classification A, General Engineering Contractor. The cost of construction is estimated to be from $300,000 to $350,000. Bid security of no less than 10% required at time of bid. Successful bidder shall provide Payment and Performance Bonds for 100% of the contract amount. Prevailing Wage rates apply. The Owner, as a matter of policy, encourages Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation for this project. NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR STATEMENTS OF
QUALIFICATIONS FOR
MATERIAL INSPECTION/TESTING SERVICES AND GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING CONSULTING ON AN AS-NEEDED BASIS FOR FHWA FUNDED PROJECTS
(RFSQ 6218)

The County of San Diego Department of Public Works invites qualified Consultants to submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) to provide Material Inspection/Testing Service and Geotechnical Engineering Consulting on an As-Needed Basis For FHWA Funded Projects. Projects are public works and subject to prevailing wage requirements. Consultant will be required to provide material inspection and testing services during design and/or construction phase(s) of various projects. Consultant shall collect field samples and perform field and laboratory testing to verify conformance with project design and/or construction specifications. Report preparation, test summaries, and timely turnaround for test results are also required. The County may award up to two contracts from this Qualifications Based Selection. Awarded contracts shall not exceed $500,000 per year for a term of up to three (3) years each. Specific work will be assigned via task order. Actual execution of task orders will be at the sole discretion of the County.

The County of San Diego Department of Public Works invites qualified Consultants to submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) to provide Construction Management Services on an As-Needed Basis for FHWA Funded Projects. Projects are public works and subject to prevailing wage requirements. Consultant will be required to provide technical assistance on an as-needed basis for construction management of public works improvement projects involving road and bridge construction. Consultant shall provide construction support services including responses to contractor requests for information and design conflict resolution. The County may award up to one contract from this Qualifications Based Selection. Awarded contract shall not exceed $999,999 per year for a term of up to five (5) years each. Specific work will be assigned via task order. Actual execution of task orders will be at the sole discretion of the County.
