NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the San Diego County Superintendent of Schools/San Diego County Office of Education; San Diego County, California, hereinafter referred to as the “County Office,” will receive up to, but not later than 10 o'clock a.m. on the 25 day of November, 2008 sealed bids for the purpose of:

Such bids must be received by the Purchasing Supervisor, Internal Business Services Section of the County Office, IN ROOM 503, 6401 Linda Vista Road; San Diego, CA 92111.
Each bid must conform and be responsive to this notice, the Information for Bidders, and the Bid Specifications. Copies of the bid documents may be attained at the County Office.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a 10% security referred to in the contract documents, the noncollusion affidavit, the list of subcontractors, and all additional documentation required by the Instructions to Bidders.
The County Office reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bids or in the bidding process.
No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of bids.
The director of the Department of Industrial Relations has determined the general prevailing rate of per diem wages in the locality in which this work is to be performed for each craft or type of worker needed to execute the contract which will be awarded to the successful bidder, copies of which are on file and will be made available to any interested party on request at Department of Industrial Relations, Division of Labor Statistics and Research, Prevailing Wage Unit, P.O. Box 420603, San Francisco, CA 94142-0603 or at www.dir.ca.gov.
It shall be mandatory upon the contractor to whom the contract is awarded, and upon any subcontractor under them, to pay not less than the said specified rates to all workers employed by them in the execution of the contract.
This contract is___/is not XX subject to a labor compliance program, as described in subdivision (b) of Section 1771.5 of the Labor Code. “Pursuant to Labor Code section 1771.7, the District has implemented and shall enforce a Labor Compliance Program (LCP) approved by the Department of Industrial Relations for this Project.

Purpose: The San Diego County Regional Airport Authority seeks proposals from firms or individuals to provide emergency notification capabilities through an Application Service Provider (ASP). The system must have the capability to initiate emergency notifications through a web based graphical user interface, and disseminate notifications using multiple modes of communications-voice messages, SMS text messaging, text to speech, and e-mail at the San Diego International Airport.

The County of San Diego, Owner, invites sealed bids for CONSTRUCTION OF TRAFFIC SIGNAL AND SAFETY LIGHTING SYSTEM AT ALPINE BLVD./SOUTH GRADE RD./EAST VICTORIA DR.; PROJECT No. 1012217; (BID No. 3404).
Sealed bids will be received at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, 10089 Willow Creek Road, Suite 150, San Diego, California, 92131, until 2:00 p.m. on NOVEMBER 21, 2008, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. No pre-bid meeting is scheduled for this project. The County of San Diego, Department of General Services, invites qualified consultants to submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) to perform the following tasks:

ARCHITECTURAL AND
CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION SERVICES FOR CONSTRUCTION OF LINCOLN ACRES BRANCH LIBRARY.

The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a best-qualified firm to assist the County in performing architectural and construction administration services tasks listed below. An evaluation process will be used to determine consultants' qualifications and ability to perform each task. Tasks include: Design development and preparation of construction documents with specifications; processing Major, Minor, and Conditional Use Permits; cost estimating; coordinating disciplines such as landscape, architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and low voltage; representing the County at design and public community / County staff presentations; and other construction administration services.
Consultant services shall be awarded by Qualification Based Selection in accordance with County Board of Supervisors' Policy, F-40 (Procuring Architectural, Engineering and Related Professional Services). (Available upon request).
