NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of San Diego on Tuesday, December 2, 2003, at the hour of 10:00 a.m., at the City Council Chambers, 12th floor, 202 C Street, San Diego, California, will hold a public hearing in accordance with Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 with respect to the proposed issuance by the Housing Authority of the City of San Diego of its multifamily housing revenue bonds, in order to finance the acquisition and construction of the multifamily rental housing project described in the following table:

The owner of the Beyer Courtyard Apartments (the "Project") is expected to be Beyer Boulevard Apartments, LLP, whose managing general partner is Wakeland Housing Development Corporation, a California nonprofit benefit corporation ("Wakeland"), or another partnership or limited liability company formed by Wakeland for the purpose of owning the Project. The initial operator of the Project will be selected by the owner of the project.
Notice is further given that at said hearing all interested parties will have an opportunity to be heard on the acquisition, construction and operation of the Project, and on the question of whether or not such multifamily housing revenue bonds should be issued. Written comments may also be submitted prior to the hearing, c/o Mr. Dan Cady, San Diego Housing Commission, 1625 Newton Avenue, San Diego, California 92113-1038.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on December 2, 2003, a public hearing as required by Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (the "Code") will be held with respect to the proposed execution and delivery of the Certificates of Participation evidencing proportionate interests of the Holders thereof in Installment Payments to be paid by the County of San Diego from Purchase Payments to be received from the San Diego Jewish
Academy (the "Certificates"), in an amount not to exceed $22,000,000. The Certificates will be executed and delivered for the purpose, among other things, of financing and refinancing the acquisition, construction, improvement, furnishing and equipping of certain educational facilities including but not limited to classrooms, athletic facilities, multipurpose rooms, faculty and administrative offices, a library and real property infrastructure improvements related thereto at the San Diego Jewish Academy, located at 11860 Carmel Creek Road, San Diego, California (the "Academy"). The Academy is owned and operated by an organization described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Code.
The hearing will commence at 9:00 a.m. local time, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard and will be held in the North Chamber, San Diego County Administration Center, Room 310, 1600 Pacific Highway, San Diego, California 92101. Interested persons wishing to express their views on the delivery of the Certificates or on the nature and location of the facilities proposed to be financed or refinanced may attend the public hearing or, prior to the time of the hearing, submit written comments.
