The Southeastern Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) San Diego, CA - is a public non-profit corporation established by the City of San Diego and is responsible for all redevelopment activities occurring in the 7.2 mile area immediately east of downtown. SEDC is currently seeking a qualified Manager of Projects and Development to assist with the development and implementation of specific community redevelopment programs. The Manager of Projects and Development oversees and manages the daily operations of the Projects and Development Division. This individual must possess strong communication, written skills and have the ability to prepare and administer the division's budget.

The Manager of Projects and Development position requires a minimum of seven years as a Sr. Planner or Project Manager (with a minimum of five years as a supervisor). A Bachelor's degree in planning, public administration, architecture or closely related field is required. The salary for this position is $75,000 to $100,000 annually DOQ and the corporation offers a generous benefits package.

Notification of Invitation For Bid (IFB) #5001059 “Freeway Service Patrol Services”.
The San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) is seeking sealed technical qualifications and written bids from qualified firms to provide freeway service patrol towing and motorist assistance services for SANDAG's Regional Freeway Service Patrol program. The purpose of SANDAG's Freeway Service Patrol (FSP) Program is to help alleviate traffic congestion associated with non recurring freeway incidents. The successful Contractor shall be responsible for the rapid removal of disabled vehicles, assisting with traffic accidents, providing motorist assistance and removing debris from the roadway.
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Monday, December 1, 2008, at SANDAG, 401 B Street, Wells Fargo Building, Suite 800, San Diego, CA, 92101-4231.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oceanside Unified School District of San Diego County, California, acting by and through its Governing Board, hereinafter referred to as the District, is requesting proposals for:

LEASE-LEASE BACK SERVICES
FOR THE LINCOLN MIDDLE SCHOOL
MODERNIZATION AND NEW

The Request for Proposals (RFP) may be obtained on November 20, 2008, from the Office of the Construction Program Manager, Oceanside Unified School District, 2111 Mission Avenue, Building E, Oceanside, CA 92058, or may be downloaded from the District's website at: http://www.oside.k12.ca.us/districtpages/district_bond_proc.htm .

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Education of the San Pasqual Union School District, Escondido, CA, acting by and through its governing board, will receive sealed bids for the furnishing of all labor, materials, transportation, equipment, and services for the WELL RE-ESTABLISHMENT PROJECT: Value of contract is estimated at approx. <$30K.
Each bidder shall be a licensed contractor pursuant to the Business and Professional Code and shall be licensed in the following classification: C-57.
Each bid must conform and be responsive to the contract documents. Copies of the documents may be obtained at the San Diego County Office of Education, Facility Planning located at 6401 Linda Vista Rd., #507, San Diego, CA, to be picked up in person at no cost, or you may receive it via email by providing full contact info to jbranch@sdcoe.net.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held as follows: November 25, 2008, 2:00 p.m. at the San Pasqual Union School, 15305 Rockwood Rd., Escondido, CA 92027.
All bids will be received by the San Pasqual Union School District by delivery to the San Diego County Office of Education - Facility Planning at 6401 Linda Vista Rd., #507, San Diego, CA 92111, up to, but no later than, 2:00 p.m. on December 5, 2008 at which time bids will be opened and publicly read aloud.
WAGES: The Director of the Department of Industrial Relations has determined the general prevailing rate of per diem wages in the locality in which this public work is to be performed for each craft, classification, or type of worker needed to execute the contract. Copies of that determination are available on the DIR website at: http://www.dir.ca.gov.
Each bid shall be submitted on the bid form provided in the bid documents. Each bid shall be accompanied by a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the bidder and surety company, or certified check, or cashier's check in favor of the San Pasqual Union School District, or cash, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid. Said Bid Bond shall be given to guarantee that the bidder will execute the contract as specified, within three (3) working days after the notification of the award of the contract to bidder.
The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding.
