The SAN DIEGO ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENTS (SANDAG), 401 B Street, Suite 800, San Diego, CA 92101-4231, is requesting bids to perform the work as follows.
The scope of work, in general, consists of the fabrication, furnishing, packaging, and delivery of custom bus shelters, wind screens, and lean rails in accordance with the details shown in the construction drawings, Standard Specifications, and Special Provisions.  The plans call for 34 shelters, 21 wind screens, and 18 lean rails to be fabricated.  The shelters are to be constructed of structural steel, stainless steel, and laminated glass materials.  Lighting fixtures, lighting covers, miscellaneous electrical work, and drainage downspouts are also required.
The Engineer’s Estimate is $2,551,799.
This IFB package can be downloaded from the SANDAG website at Register in SANDAG’s online database and download the IFB and plans. SANDAG is the only source of accurate information about SANDAG projects. The IFB may be reviewed at SANDAG and/or the Contracting Opportunities Center located at 4007 Camino Del Rio South, Suite 210, San Diego, CA.
Bids must be received by 2:30 p.m., on Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at SANDAG, on the 8th Floor, attention: Rian Risley. Bids arriving later than 2:30 p.m., or at a location other than 401 B Street, 8th Floor, will not be considered.

Independent Auditing Services

The San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) and the Independent Taxpayer Oversight Committee are seeking proposals from independent, certified public accounting firms for professional services to perform a variety of independent auditing services.

These audits are to be performed in accordance with (1) generally accepted auditing standards in the United States, (2) the standards set forth for financial audits contained in Government Auditing Standards issued by the Comptroller General of the United States, (3) the provisions of the Federal Single Audit Act, as amended, and (4) the provisions of the U.S. Office of Management and Budget Circular A-133, Audits of States, Local Governments, and Non-Profit Organizations.

No pre-proposal meeting will be held for this RFP.
