NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the City of Poway has established an Overall Annual Disadvantaged Business Enterprise goal, applicable to contracting opportunities scheduled to be awarded during the period of October 1, 2003, through September 30, 2004. The City of Poway?s proposed Overall Annual goal and its rationale were developed in response to U.S. Department of Transportation?s New Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program Final Rule (49 CFR Part 26) and are available for inspection for thirty (30) days following the date of this Notice, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Pacific Standard Time, Monday through Friday at our principal place of business located at:

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ADOPT A CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE
FOR STUDENT SUCCESS
CHARTER SCHOOL OF SAN DIEGO
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Student Success Programs dba Charter School of San Diego (the "School") has tentatively approved and intends to finally adopt a Conflict of Interest Code pursuant to Government Code section 87300 at its meeting on May 13, 2003. Pursuant to Government Code sections 87200 and 87302, the Code will designate public officials, employees and consultants of the School who make governmental decisions, manage the School?s investments, and who, therefore, must disclose certain investments, interests in real property, sources of income and business positions, and disqualify themselves from making or participating in the making of governmental decisions affecting those interests.
A public comment period has been established commencing on December 4, 2003 and terminating on January 18, 2004. Any interested person may present written comments concerning the proposed code no later than January 20, 2004, to the School representative at the address listed below. No public hearing on this matter will be held unless any interested person or his or her representative requests a public hearing no later than 15 days prior to the close of the written comment period.
The exact terms of the proposed Conflict of Interest Code, and all of the information upon which the Code is based, are available for inspection and copying by interested persons by contacting the School representative at the address listed below. The School has prepared a written explanation of the reasons for the designations and the disclosure responsibilities and has available all of the information upon which its proposed Conflict of Interest Code is based. Any general inquiries concerning the proposed Code should be directed to the School representative listed below.

FY 2004 DISADVANTAGED
BUSINESS ENTERPRISE (DBE) GOALS
The San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) has developed its Annual DBE Goal and Methodology applicable to U.S. DOT-funded contracting opportunities scheduled to be awarded during the period October 1, 2003 through September 30, 2004. SANDAG's goals were developed in response to the U.S. Department of Transportation's Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program Final rule (49 CFR Part 26). The goals and methodology for FY 2003-2004 will be available for public inspection at the SANDAG offices for 30 days following the date of this notice and on the SANDAG Web site at www.sandag.org in the Notices section. Public comments will be accepted for 45 days following the date of this notice.
