A draft Mitigated Negative Declaration has been prepared by the City of San Diego Land Development Review Division for the project listed below. Written comments regarding the adequacy of this Draft Mitigated Negative Declaration must be received by the Land Development Review Division at the address below by January 7, 2004. This notice was/will be published in the SAN DIEGO DAILY TRANSCRIPT and PUBLIC RECORD REPORTER and distributed on December 18, 2003.

HAZARD RESIDENCE. COASTAL DEVELOPMENT PERMIT / SITE DEVELOPMENT PERMIT (Project No. 5664) to demolish an existing 2,383 square-foot, two-story, single family residence with attached garage and construct a new 4,062 square-foot, three-story, single family residence, with attached garage, on a 4,774 square-foot site. The proposed project is located at 1876 Torrey Pines Road, within the Single Family Zone of the La Jolla Shores Planned District, Coastal Overlay Zone, Beach Parking Impact Zone and the La Jolla Community Planning Area. Legal Description: Lot 73 of La Jolla Vista, in the City of San Diego, County of San Diego, Parcel Map No. 1762. Applicant: Eric and Jennifer Hazard.
This recommended finding that the project will not have a significant effect on the environment is based on project revisions/conditions which now mitigate potentially significant environmental impacts in the following areas: archaeological resources. The draft Mitigated Negative Declaration, Initial Study, and supporting documents may be reviewed, or purchased for the cost of reproduction, at the office of the Land Development Review Division, 1222 First Avenue, Fifth Floor, San Diego, CA 92101.
