The SAN DIEGO UNIFIED PORT DISTRICT is seeking Request for Proposals (RFP) to:
ENTER INTO SECURITY SERVICES AGREEMENT
FOR THE ADMINISTRATION BUILDING
SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA

The San Diego Unified Port District (District) is interested in contracting for unarmed security guard services at the District Administration Building 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays, for three (3) years, and on an "as-needed" basis at the Administration Building and other locations at dates and times to be determined by the District for the term of the contract. The District requests proposals from companies with a minimum of three years experience in providing security services and possessing a State of California "Private Patrol Operator" (PPO) license.
Proposals must be received no later than 2:00 P.M. local time on December 19, 2003 at the PURCHASING DEPARTMENT, first floor Reception Area, San Diego Unified Port District, 3165 Pacific Highway, San Diego, California (mailing address: PO Box 120488, San Diego, California 92112-0488).
An Information Exchange Conference will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on December 11, 2003 at the Administration Building, Training Room, first floor, 3165 Pacific Highway, San Diego, California.

It is the policy of the San Diego Unified Port District that certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) shall have the maximum opportunity to participate in the performance of District contracts.
