PLEASE ACCEPT THIS AS A NOTICE TO INFORM YOU, as a property owner, tenant or interested citizen, that the Council of The City of San Diego, California will conduct a public hearing, as part of a scheduled City Council meeting, on the following project:
Matter of the appeal by Affordable Housing Coalition of San Diego County and Citizens for Responsible Equitable Environmental Development, c/o Cory J. Briggs, Briggs Law Corporation, from the decision by the Planning Commission approving an application for the conversion of twenty (20) existing residential units to condominium, including a waiver of the requirement to underground the existing overhead utilities. The 0.79-acre project is located at 7827-67 Stalmer Street in the RM-2-5 Zone, the Residential Tandem Parking Overlay Zone, and the Clairemont Mesa Height Limitation Overlay Zone, within the Clairemont Mesa Community Plan area.
Should the condominium conversion project be approved, tenants may be required to vacate the premises. No units may be sold in this building unless the conversion is approved by the city and until after a public report is issued by the Department of Real Estate. Each tenant has the exclusive right to contract for the purchase of his or her respective unit upon the same terms and conditions that such unit will be initially offered to the general public or terms more favorable to the tenant. The right shall run for a period of not less than 90 days from the date of issuance of the subdivision public report pursuant to Section 11018.2 of the Business and Professions Code, unless the tenant gives prior written notice of his or her intention not to exercise the right.

This project was determined to be categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA_ on June 22, 2008. An appeal of the CEQA determination was previously made and the City Council denied the CEQA appeal on March 20, 2007. The scope of the subject hearing only includes the project, and not the environmental determination.

 As a property owner, tenant, or person who has requested notice, please be advised that the Hearing Officer will hold a public hearing to approve, conditionally approve, or deny an application for the addition of an 8,640 square-foot classroom building and 3,840 square-foot media arts building to an existing school on a 5.99-acre site located at 2225 Torrey Pines Lane in the SF Zone of La Jolla Shores Planned District within the La Jolla Community Plan, Coastal Overlay Zone (non-Appealable), Coastal Height Limit Overlay Zone, Residential Tandem Parking Overlay Zone, Transit Area Overlay Zone, Parking Impact Overlay Zone (Coastal), within the La Jolla Community Planning Area and City Council District 1.  The project includes the paving of an existing dirt parking lot in the south west corner of the site.  The project design incorporates a roof-mounted photovoltaic system consisting of solar panels sufficient to generate at least 30 percent of the project’s projected energy consumption, meeting the requirements of City Council Policy 900-14.
 The decision of the Hearing Officer is final unless appealed to the Planning Commission.  In order to appeal the decision you must be present at the public hearing and file a speaker slip concerning the application or have expressed interest by writing to the Hearing Officer before the close of the public hearing. The appeal must be made within 10 working days of the Hearing Officer's decision.  The decision made by the Planning Commission would be the final decision by the City.
 The certification of an Environmental Impact Report, adoption of a Mitigated Negative Declaration or Negative Declaration may be appealed to the City Council after all other appeal rights have been exhausted.  All such appeals must be filed by 5:00 PM within ten (10) business days from the date of the Planning Commission's certification/adoption of the environmental document.  The proper forms are available from the City Clerk's Office, located on the second floor of the City Administration Building, 202 C Street, San Diego, CA  92101.
 The final decision by the City of San Diego is not appealable to the California Coastal Commission.  If you want to receive a Notice of Final Action, you must submit a written request to the City Project Manager listed above.

The Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Diego is soliciting proposals from qualified community service providers or community-based organizations interested in co-occupying commercial space in the Renaissance at North Park located at 4332 El Cajon Boulevard. The selected tenant will be offered a 5-year lease with options for renewal at the discretion of the Redevelopment Agency.
Although the Agency consists of three entities (the Redevelopment Division, the Centre City Development Corporation and the Southeastern Economic Development Corporation), this solicitation for community service providers or community-based organizations interested in co-occupying commercial space in North Park is only for the North Park Redevelopment Project Area managed by the Redevelopment Division. The Division implements redevelopment activities within eleven redevelopment project areas totaling approximately 7,600 acres and provides overall management and administrative services for the Agency.
