are used by County staff during the review of discretionary projects and environmental documents pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for projects within the unincorporated area of San Diego County. The Guidelines present a range of quantitative, qualitative, and performance levels for evaluating adverse environmental effects that a proposed project may have relative to Noise. The Noise Report Format and Content Requirements
are used by County staff and County approved CEQA consultants to help in the preparation of useful, organized, consistent, and legally adequate technical studies in a timely and cost efficient manner. Comments on the proposed revisions to the Guidelines for Determining Significance and/or Report Format and Content Requirements must be sent to the DPLU address listed above and should be forwarded to the attention of Kristen Koch. Comments on the proposed revisions to the aforementioned documents must be received no later than January 21, 2009 at 4:00 p.m
