As a property owner, tenant, or person who has requested notice, you should know that the Development Services Department Staff has issued an emergency Coastal Development Permit to erect a rope barrier at the La Jolla Children's pool, including supporting rope posts and foundations. The rope is being placed on a temporary basis during the seal pupping season from December 15th to May 15th.
The decision of the Development Services Department staff is final. A public hearing will be held at a later date for a standard Coastal Development Permit for this project.
