The San Diego Unified School District will receive sealed bids for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and services for:
REPROGRAPHIC SERVICES ON AN AS-NEEDED BASIS (IDIQ)
Notice of Clerical Error to Bid Advertisement on December 11, and December 16, 2008 regarding the above Bid. Project was inadvertently listed as a Mandatory pre-bid meeting where it is not a requirement of this type of contract. In addition, this bid will remain open for an additional week to incorporate changes to the bid documents. The award of contract will go to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. PLEASE SEE BID FOR DETAILS. (Bid No. C89-210-LH)
The project estimate is between $550,000 and $650,000. The District requires that Bidders shall have no less than 3 years experience in the magnitude and character of the work called for in this bid.
All bids must be received by Physical Plant Operations Center, Contract Management Office, 4860 Ruffner Street, San Diego, California 92111, up to, but no later than, 2:00 p.m. on January 15, 2009, at which time bids will be opened and publicly read aloud. All late bids shall be deemed non-responsive and will not be opened. Each bid shall be in accordance with specifications, plans, and other contract documents now on file at the Contracts Management Office. Each bid shall be submitted on a bid form furnished by the District. Bid forms and other pertinent documents may be obtained at the Physical Plant Operations Center, Facilities Contracts Office, 4860 Ruffner Street, San Diego, CA 92111, telephone number (858) 637-6244, beginning December 11, 2008. A deposit of $50.00 for each bid set is required. Checks for deposit will be required, made payable to the San Diego Unified School District. This deposit is refundable according to the conditions outlined in the bid documents. Bid documents will not be faxed.
The San Diego Unified School District reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to accept or reject any one or more items of any bid, or to waive any irregularities, or informalities in the bids, or in the bidding.
Each bid must be submitted on the bid form provided in the bid documents.
No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date and time set for the opening of bids.

REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ)
FOR GEOTECHNICAL INSPECTION, CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS/SOILS TESTING AND
SPECIAL/STRUCTURAL
INSPECTION SERVICES


Notice is hereby given that the San Diego Unified School District of San Diego, CA (District) is soliciting written qualifications from firms desiring to provide materials testing services to the District. The scope of work intended for interested firms includes, but is not limited to: geotechnical inspection, construction materials/soils testing, and special/structural inspection services for school sites on as-needed basis throughout the San Diego Unified School District. This process will create a list of qualified firms available for use during a 12 months initial term, with two one-year options to renew. Individual Notices to Proceed will be issued by project. The anticipated contract value is $1 Million.
Participation by historically underrepresented, emerging, and disabled veteran-owned business enterprises are encouraged to respond. All respondents shall be required to comply with the requirements of California Public Contract Code Section 10115 et. seq. and California Veterans Code Section 999 et. seq.
The RFQ package is available through the Physical Plant Operations Center, Facilities Contracts Management Office. The District reserves the right to reject any and all submissions and to waive any irregularities.
