The County of San Diego, Owner, invites sealed bids for CONSTRUCTION OF THE FORMER ALPINE II BURN DUMP MITIGATION PLAN; PROJECT No. 1003344; (BID No. 3467).
Sealed bids will be received at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, 10089 Willow Creek Road, Suite 150, San Diego, California, 92131, until 2:00 p.m. on DECEMBER 18, 2008, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. A site inspection of the construction area at the Former Alpine II Burn Dump site is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 4th, 2008. Contractors are to assemble at the site entrance, located on Chocolate Summit Drive, approximately 0.6 miles east of Dunbar Lane, in the vicinity of Alpine (Thomas Guide 1233, F3). Inspection of the project construction area at any other time after December 4th, 2008, must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance with Jason Forga, Site Engineer by calling (858) 495-5470. No inspections will be conducted prior to December 4th, 2008.
