As a property owner, tenant, or person who has requested notice, please be advised that the Hearing Officer will hold a public hearing to approve, conditionally approve, modify or deny an application for a Conditional Use Permit to amend Conditional Use Permit 96-7859 to allow for a eight year extension for a fitness and physical therapy center located at 11501 Rancho Bernardo Rd.
The decision of the Hearing Officer is final unless appealed to the Planning Commission. In order to appeal the decision you must be present at the public hearing and file a speaker slip concerning the application or have expressed interest by writing to the Hearing Officer before the close of the public hearing. To file an appeal to the Planning Commission contact staff at the Planning Department, 202 "C" St., Fifth Floor, San Diego, CA. The appeal must be made within 10 working days of the Hearing Officer's decision.
The decision made by the Planning Commission is the final decision by the City.
If you wish to challenge the City's action on the above proceedings in court, you may be limited to addressing only those issues you or someone else have raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or written in correspondence to the City at or before the public hearing. If you have any questions after reviewing this notice, you can call the City Project Manager listed above.
This information will be made available in alternative formats upon request. To request an agenda in alternative format or to request a sign language or oral interpreter for the meeting, call the Disability Services Program Coordinator at 236-5679, at least five working days prior to the meeting to insure availability. A pre-bid meeting and/or pre-bid visit to the work site will be held, if indicated, at the time and place specified in the contract documents. Prospective bidders are encouraged to attend these sessions.

CORRECTION:
In order to be able to bid on this contract, Bidders must be pre-qualified under Phase I prior to submitting a bid with a bidding capacity of at least $28,777,655.00 (which is the largest phased funding amount, see specification section 9-3.7). This requirement does not change the contract requirement of providing a Performance Bond for the total cost of the Project.
This project also requires a Phase II pre-qualification demonstrating experience on similar projects. Therefore, prospective bidders will be required to submit completed Phase II Pre-Qualification forms to Engineering & Capital Projects, 1010 Second Avenue, Suite 1200, San Diego, CA 92101, Attn: Ray Roberson. Phase II Pre-Qualification forms will be provided in Addendum "A". The deadline for submittal of the Phase II forms is??March 25, 2003 at 4:30 p.m.
