NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY THE ADVISORY COMMITTEE
FOR THE CARLSBAD UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT
Pursuant to the provisions of Education Code Section 17390(b), the Advisory Committee of the Carlsbad Unified School District will hold a public hearing for the consideration of recommending to the District Board of Trustees surplus or non-surplus designation of certain property as listed as surplus real property that will be acceptable to the community for the following properties:
Property located at the corner of Magnolia Avenue and Valley Street,
The options for consideration and recommendation to the District Board of Trustees include:
a. Retain the property and investigate how the property can be used for District
b. Retain the property and lease the property
c. Sell the property pursuant to California law at the property's highest and best
d. None of the above.
The Advisory Committee previously met on January 28, 2014 and February 10, 2014. The Advisory Committee will hold a Public Hearing and receive public comments under the guidelines established by the committee for public comments for the purposes of discussion of the property as identified above. Said Public Hearing will be held at 4:00 p.m., February 19, 2014, at the Carlsbad Unified School District Headquarters, 6225 El Camino Real, Carlsbad, CA 92009.
