The San Diego Unified Port District (District) requires the services of a qualified Consultant to provide sample collection and perform biological, chemical and bioassay analysis for the implementation of the Ambient Monitoring Program for the Regional Harbor Monitoring Program (RHMP). The District is the lead agency implementing the RHMP in cooperation with the Cities of San Diego and Oceanside and the County of Orange. The Ambient Monitoring Program consists of sampling San Diego Bay, Mission Bay, Oceanside Harbor, and Dana Point Harbor. The San Diego Regional Water Quality Control Board under CWA §13225 is requiring this Ambient Monitoring Program. The program requires sampling each bay every summer for five years to develop trend data and evaluate the RHMP.
Services will be available to the District on an as-needed basis for a period of five years. The maximum amount of the agreement is $1,800,000. The agreement does not guarantee that such services will be required to the maximum amount of the agreement.
