The County of San Diego, Owner, invites sealed bids for HARBISON CANYON PUMP STATION IMPROVEMENTS; ORACLE PROJECT NO. 1018721; BID No. 6389
Sealed bids will be received at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, Front Desk (where it will be time stamped to indicate time of receipt) 5560 Overland Avenue, Suite 270, San Diego, CA, 92123-1294, until 2:00 p.m. on March 24, 2014, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Contract Documents including Plans, Specifications and Bid Forms are available to be downloaded free of charge, from the Department of Purchasing and Contracting Buynet website at: https://buynet.sdcounty.ca.gov. The Contractor shall possess, at the time of submitting the bid, a California contractor's license, Classification A - General Engineering Contractor. The Contractor or its Subcontractors shall also possess, at the time of submitting the bid, a California contractor's license Classification C-11 - Elevator Contractor, Classification C-33 - Painting and Decorating Contractor, Classification C-10 - Electrical Contractor and Classification C-57 - Well Drilling Contractor. The cost of construction is estimated to be from $270,000 to $300,000. Bid security of no less than 10% required at time of bid. Successful bidder shall provide Payment and Performance Bonds of 100% of the awarded contract amount. State Prevailing and Federal Minimum Wage Rates rates apply.
