NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Palomar Community College District of San Diego County, California, acting by and through its Governing Board (the "District"), will receive up to the close of business on the 26th day of March 2003, sealed proposals for the award of a contract for:
BOND FINANCING CONSULTANT
All proposals shall be received in the office of Counsel, Contracts & Special Projects of the District located at 1140 W. Mission Road, Room A-4A, San Marcos, California 92069-1487.
Each proposal shall conform and be responsive to the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) a copy of which is on file and may be obtained from the office of Counsel, Contracts & Special Projects at the above address. The District is conducting a feasibility study of the registered voters living within its jurisdiction regarding a proposed General Obligation Bond issue in the year 2004; and is establishing its Bond Financing Team while the feasibility study is being conducted to provide input and expertise during the study, and if it is determined feasible, to work with the District to put a General Obligation Measure before the voters of the District in the year 2004.
All qualified firms and persons shall have current licenses as required under California law for the provision of financial services requested by the District. The District seeks a Financial Advisor and Underwriter to join its team of experts studying the feasibility of presenting a GO Bond Measure to the voters of the District as stated herein.
The District reserves the right to reject any or all applicants, and to waive any irregularities or informalities in the RFQ and RFQ process. District is an equal opportunity employer.
All applications shall be screened and evaluated by a District committee and those applicants selected for the short list may be invited to attend an interview, at the applicant?s own expense, at the District?s San Marcos campus on a date and time to be scheduled in April, 2003.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College School District of San Diego County, California, acting by and through its Governing Board, hereinafter referred to as the Owner, will receive up to, but not later than 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 18, 2003, sealed bids for the award of contracts for Bids: "C4692 GROSSMONT COLLEGE CERAMICS DUST COLLECTORS" Bids shall be received in the offices of Purchasing/Contracts Department, Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College School District attn: Troy Gilson, 8800 Grossmont College Drive, El Cajon, CA 92020, and shall be opened and publicly read aloud at the above-stated time and place. Subject to conditions prescribed by the undersigned, sealed bids for a Lump Sum Contract are invited for the following. DESCRIPTIONS OF WORK: FURNISH AND INSTALL; Torit RVS 15 Vibra-shake series dust collector per manufacturer specifications outside studio on existing concrete. FURNISH AND INSTALL; Torit Model DFO2-4 2000CFM Dust Collector per manufacturer specifications on existing concrete pad. Provide and Install 208vac 3 phase disconnect and Circuit Breaker. Provide power to Motor. Provide and connect 110v single phase line for operation of time and wired to solenoids on dust collector. Provide and install Nema 12 magnetic motor starter package inside container. Make all necessary connections per manufacturer specification to ensure proper functioning and use of equipment. Start and test all equipment per manufacturer specifications. Mandatory project walk scheduled for Tuesday, March 11, 2003 at 11:00 am. Each bid must conform and be responsive to the contract documents available on February 27, 2003 at:8800 Grossmont College Drive, El Cajon, CA 92020. Office Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 A.M. - 4:30 P.M. Sealed bids for the Lump Sum Base Bid will not be accepted after 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 18, 2003. Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Lump Sum Base Bid, excluding alternates, shall accompany each Bid. The Surety issuing the Bid Bond shall be, on the Bid Deadline, listed in the latest published State of California, Department of Insurance, "List of Insurers Admitted to Transact Surety Insurance in This State." The successful Bidder and its subcontractors will be required to follow the nondiscrimination requirements set forth in the Bidding Documents and to pay prevailing wage rates at the location of the Work. The successful Bidder will be required to have the following State of California contractor's license current at the time of submission of the Bid, except in the case of a joint venture Bidder which shall be licensed at the time of notice of selection as the apparent lowest responsible Bidder:

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

The San Diego Workforce Partnership, Inc. (Workforce Partnership) is soliciting proposals from vendors for cost effective temporary staffing services, primarily in the area of administrative support. The Workforce Partnership is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, chartered by the City of San Diego and County of San Diego to administer federal employment and training funds.
The demand is unpredictable, but qualified individuals are needed from time to time. The duration of assignment is usually from one to six weeks. Assignments include receptionist/switchboard, administrative assistant, accounts payable clerk, and accountant. The Workforce Partnership will enter into a First Call Agreement and a Back-up Agreement with the most responsive and qualified Temporary Staffing Agencies.
