As a property owner, tenant or person who has requested notice, you should know that the Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to approve, conditionally approve, or deny applications for eleven Site Development Permits for the Adams Avenue, City Heights, College Area, Hillcrest, La Jolla, Little Italy, Mission Hills, North Park, Ocean Beach, Old Town, Pacific Beach and San Ysidro Business Improvement Districts (BID) to implement the Public Right-of-Way Enhancement Program. The Program would allow participating retail and restaurant businesses the ability to place free-standing "A"-frame signs, display merchandise/goods and outdoor dining areas on sidewalks within the public right-of-way of the respective businesses consistent with the General Requirements Standards and Conditions of the BID Public Right-of-Way Enhancement Program.
The decision of the Planning Commission is final unless the project is appealed to the City Council. In order to appeal the decision of the Planning Commission you must be present at the public hearing and file a speaker slip concerning the application or have expressed interest by writing to the Planning Commission before the close of the public hearing. To file an appeal, contact the City Clerk at 202 "C" Street, Second Floor. The appeal must be made within 10 working days of the Planning Commission decision. If you wish to challenge the City's action on the above proceedings in court, you may be limited to addressing only those issues you or someone else have raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or written in correspondence to the City at or before the public hearing.

PLEASE ACCEPT THIS AS A NOTICE TO INFORM YOU, as a property owner, tenant or interested citizen, that the Council of The City of San Diego, California will conduct a public hearing, as part of a scheduled City Council meeting, on the following project:

Matter of approving, conditionally approving, modifying or denying a request for a Coastal Development Permit and Public Right-of-Way Vacation to vacate approximately 33-feet of excess dedicated public Right-of-Way on the north side of Loring Street between Cass Street and Foothill Boulevard with no physical change to the existing curb, gutter and paved street improvements within the Coastal Overlay Zone (non-appealable area), Coastal Height Limit, and Beach Parking Impact Overlay Zone all within the boundaries of the Pacific Beach Community Plan area.
The decision of the City Council is final.

This item may begin at any time after the time specified. Any interested person may address the City Council to express support or opposition to this issue. Time allotted to each speaker is determined by the Chair and, in general, is limited to three (3) minutes; moreover, collective testimony by those in support or opposition shall be limited to no more than fifteen (15) minutes total per side.
