COMMUNITY MEETINGS AND
OUTREACH EVENTS

The San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) will be conducting community meetings and outreach events at various locations throughout the service area between March 21, 2005, and April 6, 2005. This is the first of two sets of meetings to seek community feedback on a Comprehensive Operational Analysis (COA) of all bus and trolley services operated by MTS; the second set of meetings is envisioned to occur later this year.
The purpose of the COA is to restore the attractiveness and effectiveness of transit services by redesigning routes to better meet the travel needs of today. These events will provide information on the COA and will seek feedback on a draft list of initial minor service adjustments to begin optimizing the transit system.

The proposed Overall Annual Goal for DBE participation is 13.4%. NOTICE OF CHANGE OF DATE FOR RECEIVING SEALED BIDS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF SURPLUS PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE
RENZULLI SITE

The Santee School District (District) adopted Resolution #0405-08 on August 17, 2004, which Resolution declared the Board of EducationÕs (Board) intent to dispose of certain surplus real property commonly known as the Renzulli Site. Resolution #0405-08 set November 16, 2004, at 7:00 p.m. as the date and time the Board would accept sealed proposals to purchase the Renzulli Site and to receive any oral bids pursuant to Education Code Section 17473. On November 16, 2004, the Board of Education adopted Resolution #0405-21 continuing the date and time of the public meeting to receive sealed bids on the Renzulli Site to January 24, 2005. On December 7, 2004, the Board of Education adopted Resolution #0405-22 continuing the date and time of the public meeting to receive sealed bids on the Renzulli Site to February 1, 2005. On February 1, 2005, the Board of Education adopted Resolution #0405-26 continuing the date and time of the public meeting to receive sealed bids on the Renzulli Site to March 1, 2005.
In order to facilitate the sale of the property according to state law, the Board of Education adopted Resolution #0405-32 continuing the date and time to receive the bids to April 5, 2005, at 7:00 p.m. Any sealed bids submitted to the District pursuant to Resolution #0405-08 by 7:00 p.m. on March 1, 2005, shall be deemed submitted and received on the continued hearing date and time of 7:00 p.m. on April 5, 2005. Any bidder wishing to withdraw or modify such bid must so notify the District in writing by the new hearing deadline. This Notice shall be published once a week for three consecutive weeks in a newspaper of general circulation, posted in three public places within the District, and sent to the City and those parties who have expressed interest in acquiring the Renzulli Site.
