The County of San Diego, Owner, invites bids for ASPHALT RESURFACING ON OLD HWY 395 AND BUENA CREEK ROAD; ORACLE PROJECT NO. 1019536; BID No. 6827.

Sealed bids will be received at the Department of Purchasing and Contracting, at 5560 Overland Avenue, Ste. 270, San Diego, 92123, until 2:00 PM on April 7, 2015, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Contract documents including Plans, Specifications and Bid Forms are available for download on the County Buynet site: https://buynet.sdcounty.ca.gov.You must be registered at the site in order to download documents. The Contractor shall possess, at the time of submitting the bid, a California contractor's license, Classification A, General Engineering Contractor, or Classification C-12, Earthwork and Paving Contractor. The cost of construction is estimated to be from $810,000 to $850,000. Bid security of no less than 10% required at time of bid. Successful bidder shall provide Payment and Performance Bonds for 100% of the contract amount. Prevailing Wage rates apply. The Owner, as a matter of policy, encourages Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation for this project. NOTICE IS GIVEN that it is the intention of the County of San Diego to grant a license agreement for County-owned property in Rancho San Diego, California. The license agreement has been prepared pursuant to the provisions of the State Government Code and County Administrative Code.

The property is described as follows: County Operations Center Parking Structure 5515 Overland Avenue, San Diego, California 92123.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the use of the property will be granted as follows:

Licensee: ChargePoint, Incorporated.
Term: Commences upon full execution of the agreement on or after March 23, 2015 and expires on April 1, 2020.
Use: To provide vehicle charging services.
