As a property owner, tenant, or person who has requested notice, please be advised that the Hearing Officer will hold a public hearing to approve, conditionally approve, or deny an application for a (Process 3) Coastal Development Permit (CDP) to construct a 169-square-foot, 1-story addition to an existing 3242-square-foot, single story single family home located at 808 San Antonio Place in the RS-1-7 zone, Coastal Overlay Zone (appealable), First Public Roadway and Coastal Height Limit Overlay Zones, within the Peninsula Community Plan area.
The decision of the Hearing Officer is final unless appealed to the Planning Commission. In order to appeal the decision you must be present at the public hearing and file a speaker slip concerning the application or have expressed interest by writing to the Hearing Officer before the close of the public hearing. The City of San Diego ordains that 28 acres (including to the centerline of the public right-of-way) located south of Del Mar Heights Road between El Camino Real and High Bluff Drive and legally described as Parcel 1 and 2 of Parcel Map No. 15061 and Parcel 2 of Parcel Map No. 19130, in the Carmel Valley Community Plan Community Plan area, in the City of San Diego, California, is rezoned from the Carmel Valley Planned District Employment Center (CVPD-EC) Zone to the Carmel Valley Planned District-Mixed-Use Center (CVPD-MC) zone. The CVPD-MC is a newly created zone. This action amends the Official Zoning Map adopted by San Diego Resolution R-301263 on February 28, 2006, and repeals San Diego Ordinances O 15634 NS (Dec. 7, 1984) and O-16074 NS (Oct. 31, 1983) insofar as the same conflict herewith.

This ordinance contains a notice that a full reading of this ordinance is dispensed with prior to passage, a written copy having been available to the Council and the public prior to the day of its passage.

This ordinance shall take effect and be in force on the thirtieth day from and after its final passage.

This ordinance amends Chapter 15, Article 3, Division 3, of the San Diego Municipal Code by amending Section 153.0311 to add a Mixed-Use Center zone within the Carmel Valley Community Planning District and by renumbering previous Sections 153.0311, 153.0312, 153.0313, 153.0314, and 153.0315. The use and development regulations of the Mixed-Use Center zone are based on the Citywide Community Commercial (CC-5-5) zone and allow a diverse number of land uses, including residential, retail, restaurants, workplace, and civic activities, with the intent of creating a compact, multi-functional mixed use community village.

Subject: A COASTAL DEVELOPMENT PERMIT to amend Coastal Development Permit No. 171201 to rescind the consolidation of Lots 4-6 of La Jolla Country Club Estates, Map No. 2167 and construct a 6,333.37-square-foot, one-story, single-dwelling residence and a 576.95-square-foot detached garage. The project would also construct patios, courtyards, and a pool. In addition, the project would construct associated site improvements (i.e. hardscape, driveway, and solid site walls, ranging in height from three to six feet, surrounding the project site). The 0.706-acre project site is located at 7001 Country Club Drive. The land use designation for the project site is Very Low Density Residential per the Community Plan.
