Sealed bids will be received at the Department of Purchasing and Contracting, at 5560 Overland Avenue, Ste. 270, San Diego, 92123, until 2:00 PM on April 7, 2015, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. The Contractor shall possess, at the time of submitting the bid, a California contractor's license, Classification A, General Engineering Contractor, or Classification C-12, Earthwork and Paving Contractor. The cost of construction is estimated to be from $810,000 to $850,000. Bid security of no less than 10% required at time of bid. Successful bidder shall provide Payment and Performance Bonds for 100% of the contract amount. Prevailing Wage rates apply. Proposals shall be received in the Internal Business office Attn: Purchasing/Contracts Supervisor, Building 5, Room 501, San Diego County Office of Education, 6401 Linda Vista Road, San Diego, CA 9211. Proposals received after this time will be returned to the sender unopened. Parking is limited so plan accordingly. SDCOE reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any Proposals or in the quoting process, and to judge the merit and qualifications of the vendor and of the services offered.
No vendor may withdraw his proposal for a period sixty (60) calendar days after the date set for the opening of Proposals.
