Rancho Santa Fe School District
On February 7, 2008, the Board of Trustees of the Rancho Santa Fe School District declared the Aliso Canyon Property (APN #265-270-77, 2.0 acres) located at the southeast corner of Aliso Canyon and Via Del Charro in Rancho Santa Fe (unincorporated San Diego County) to be surplus property. In accordance with California Education Code 17464 et seq., Rancho Santa Fe School District hereby notifies all public districts, public authorities, public agencies, public corporations and any other political subdivisions in the State of California, the federal government and nonprofit charitable or nonprofit public benefit corporations of its intent to sell the property for fair market value.
If any such organization desires to purchase said property for fair market value, please submit a letter of interest from your agency to the Rancho Santa Fe School District no later than 5 p.m., May 20, 2008. Admiralty and Maritime Claims, Rule F
On September 27, 2007, Plaintiffs in Limitation Gary M. Johnson and Saundra J. Johnson, individually as Trustees of the Johnson Family Trust dated November 19, 1990 (hereinafter referred to collectively as “Plaintiffs in Limitation”), registered owners of the 2004 Bayliner Meridian 490 PH, “ANDIAMO” , HIN #:MDNP4007H304, bearing Official Number 1187201, her engines, tackle, apparel, and appurtenances (hereinafter referred to as “the Vessel”), filed a Complaint in the United States District Court for the Southern Division of California, case number: 07cv1893 , pursuant to the Limitation of Liability Act, 46 U.S.C. §§ 30501, et seq., and Rule F of the Supplemental Rules for Certain Admiralty and Maritime Claims (hereinafter referred to as “the Supplemental Rules”). The Complaint seeks Exoneration from or Limitation of Liability for any loss, damage, injury, or demand occasioned or incurred by, or in any way consequent to, an incident involving the Vessel that occurred on or about June 17, 2006, upon navigable waters while underway from Seattle, Washington to San Diego, California, off the coast near or around Tillamook, Oregon (hereinafter referred to as “the Incident”).
On September 27, 2007, Pursuant to Rule F(1) of the Supplemental Rules, a Declaration of Value was filed stating that the estimated cash value of the Vessel, after the Incident, is $165,000.00 due to extensive damage to the vessel.
Pursuant to an Order executed by the United States District Court, Southern District of California on February 26, 2008, any and all persons, natural or otherwise, asserting any claim(s) with respect to any loss, damage, injury, for any act, matter or demand occasioned or incurred by, or in any way consequent to the Incident, are admonished to appear before this Court, answer each and every allegation of the Complaint, make due proof and file their respective claims with the Clerk of this Court and to serve a copy thereof on James W. Alcantara, the attorney of record for Plaintiffs in Limitation, at Alcantara & Associates, APC, 402 West Broadway, Suite 1170, San Diego, California 92101, on or before May 27, 2008. If any claimant desires to contest Plaintiffs in Limitation's right to exoneration from or limitation of liability, that claimant shall file and serve on counsel for Plaintiffs in Limitation an answer to the Complaint on or before May 27, 2008, unless the claimant's claim has included an answer to the Complaint.
Further, pursuant to the above-referenced Order and Rule F(3) of the Supplemental Rules, the further prosecution of any and all suits, actions and other proceedings against Plaintiffs in Limitation and/or their property with respect to any claim subject to limitation in this action has been enjoined.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the State Water Resources Control Board (State
Water Board) will accept comments on the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination
System proposed Draft General Permit for Discharges of Storm Water Associated with Construction Activities (Draft Construction Permit). The proposed Draft Construction Permit is available to view or download at:
On August 19, 2004, the existing Construction General Permit (Water Quality Order 99-08-DWQ) expired but remains in effect until a new General Permit is adopted.
On June 19, 2006, the State Water Board received a report from a panel of storm water experts (Panel) titled, “The Feasibility of Numeric Effluent Limits Applicable to
Discharges of Storm Water Associated with Municipal, Industrial and Construction
Activities.” This report was considered in preparing the Draft Construction Permit and is available to view at:
On March 2, 2007, the State Water Board staff issued a preliminary Draft Construction Permit and received many public comments. Staff also held a series of focused stakeholder meetings. The preliminary Draft Construction Permit has been revised in response to input received.

The State Water Board will hold staff workshops on the draft permit. At the workshops, staff will discuss the significant changes from the preliminary draft, and the public will have an opportunity to ask questions. Board members may be present at the workshops, but they will not be considered formal hearings.
