REQUEST FOR STATEMENTS OF QUALIFICATIONS FOR
COUNTYWIDE AND VALLEY
CENTER AREAS
CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION AND CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION SERVICES ON AN AS-NEEDED
BASIS

The County of San Diego Department of Public Works invites qualified Consultants to submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) to provide Contract Administration and Construction Inspection Services on an as-needed basis for Countywide and Valley Center Area projects. Project falls under prevailing wage requirements. The County of San Diego intends to award three (3) contracts one (1) for the Valley Center Area projects for an amount not to exceed nine hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($950,000) and two (2) for Countywide projects for an amount not to exceed five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) each. Consultant services shall be awarded by Qualification Based Selection. Contract award is projected for July 2005. Public Disclosure of Gifts and Campaign Contributions is required for contract award. SOQs must be received by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 13, 2005, at the following address:

SOQ submittal instruction packages are available for pickup at the Engineering Services counter at the above address. Instruction packages will be mailed after receipt of request on company letterhead to above address, or by facsimile to (858) 505-6393. The County of San Diego as a matter of policy requires a 3% participation goal for Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE) for this project or documentation of "Good Faith Effort."
