OTAY WATER DISTRICT WASTEWATER MANAGEMENT PLAN UPDATE
FOR THE 2009 WATER RESOURCES MASTER PLAN UPDATE

that on April 10, 2013 the Otay Water District (OWD) issued a draft Supplemental Program Environmental Impact Report (SPEIR) for the Wastewater Management Plan (WWMP) Update of the 2009 Water Resources Master Plan (WRMP) Update for review and public comment. In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and State CEQA Guidelines CCR Title 14, §15087 the draft SPEIR assesses the environmental effects associated with implementation of the WWMP Update for the 2009 WRMP.
In compliance with the State CEQA Guidelines, the OWD has established a 45-day public review period, beginning on April 10, 2013, to solicit comments and input on the draft SPEIR. All written comments should be forwarded to Ms.Lisa Coburn-Boyd, Otay Water District, 2554 Sweetwater Springs Boulevard, Spring Valley, CA 91978-2096, Phone: (619) 670-2219, Fax: (619) 670-8920,
by no later than May 24, 2013.
Following close of the public comment period, responses to comments received on the draft SPEIR will be prepared, and, together with any corresponding revisions to the draft SPEIR, will constitute a Final SPEIR. The Final SPEIR will be considered and acted upon by the OWD Board of Directors at a noticed public hearing.

Copies of the draft EIR and appendices are also available for public review at the following public libraries: downtown San Diego, Rancho San Diego, La Mesa, and City of Chula Vista Public Library Civic Center.
The notice is required to be filed with the County Clerk's office for a period of not less than (30) thirty days.
