NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Palomar Community College District of San Diego County, California, acting by and through its Governing Board, hereinafter referred to as the “District”, will receive up to, but not later than 5:00 PM on the 29th day of April, 2013, sealed bids for the award of a contract for:

BID NO. B13-05: Audio Equipment

Such bids shall be received in the office of the Supervisor, Purchasing Services, Palomar Community College District, 1140 West Mission Road, Room A-8, San Marcos, California 92069-1487, at the above stated time and place; and such bids shall be opened and publicly read aloud promptly thereafter either in Room A-8 or in a larger room nearby.

Any bid received after the stated date and time will not be considered. Bids submitted and participation by interested bidders in the process shall be at no cost or obligation to the District.

Each bid must conform and be responsive to this invitation, the Information for Bidders, the Specifications, the Plans, if any, and all other documents comprising the pertinent contract documents. Copies of the Contract Documents are now on file and may be obtained in the office of the Supervisor, Purchasing Services at the above address, as well as at the following District bid website (in the Purchasing Services section, towards the bottom of that website) :

The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept or to reject any one or more items on a bid, or to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bids or in the bidding process.

No bidder may withdraw its bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of bids.

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the North County Transit District (“NCTD”) at the NCTD offices, 810 Mission Avenue, Oceanside, CA 92054, and publically opened at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday April 25, 2013 for the Sidewalk Repair at 810 Mission Avenue. Immediately after bid opening a “Record of Bid Opening” listing all bids will be emailed to all plan holders.  The successful bidder shall possess, at the time the contract for the Project is awarded, the California Contractor’s License Classification A or C-8.  The IFB document is available at no charge only upon email request to lfrum@nctd.org.  Include company contact information (name, address, phone, fax and email of the person responsible for receiving the IFB and any subsequent addenda) in the email request.  The document will be provided in pdf format by return email. The successful bidder will be required to comply with all of the terms and conditions prescribed for contractors performing public works construction projects.  The latest General Prevailing Wage determinations for crafts associated with public works construction projects shall apply.   It shall be mandatory upon the successful bidder and all subcontractors to pay not less than the said specified rates to all workers employed by them in the performance of this contract.  California State Prevailing Wages are available at http://www.dir.ca.gov/DLSR/statistics_research.html.  In addition to the required bid bond, the successful bidder will be required to furnish NCTD with Performance and Payment (Labor and Material) Bonds in an amount equal to 100% of the contract value prior to execution of the contract.
