The County of San Diego, Owner, invites sealed bids for CONSTRUCTION OF VIA DE SANTA FE/LA GRANADA INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENT; ORACLE PROJECT NO. 1009578; BID No. 4482

Sealed bids will be received at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, 10089 Willow Creek Road, Suite 150, San Diego, California, 92131, until 2:00 p.m. on MAY 6, 2010, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Contract documents including Plans, Specifications and Bid Forms are available for download that the County Buynet site: http://buynets.sdcounty.ca.gov . You must be registered at the site in order to download documents. The Contractor shall possess, at the time of submitting the bid, a California contractor's license, Classification A, General Engineering Contractor. The cost of construction is estimated to be from $250,000 to $290,000. Bid security of no less than 10% required at time of bid. Successful bidder shall provide Payment and Performance Bonds for 100% of the contract amount. Prevailing Wage rates apply. The Owner, as a matter of policy, encourages the Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation for this project. DBE Certification Services

Summary: The San Diego County Regional Airport Authority ("Authority") seeks Proposals from firms or individuals (“Respondent”) to provide Airport Concessionaire Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (“ACDBE”) and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (“DBE”) Certification Services. The purpose of this contract is to: (1) obtain the assistance of a Contractor experienced with ACDBE and DBE business certification; (2) assist the Authority with documenting the Authority's ACDBE and DBE businesses certification process; and (3) provide other services as requested by the Authority.
Pre-Submittal Conference: (Attendance is not mandatory). This conference will be held in the Board Room Conference Room at 1:00pm, local time, on May 5, 2010.
Proposal Due Date and Time: Proposals must be received by 2:00pm, local time, on May 19, 2010.
