Each bid shall be in accordance with specifications, plans, and other contract documents now on file at the Contracts Management Office. Each bid shall be submitted on a bid form furnished by the District. A deposit of $50.00 for each bid set is required. Checks for deposit will be required, made payable to the San Diego Unified School District. Bidders are hereby notified that pursuant to the statutes of the State of California, the director of the Department of Industrial Relations has determined the general prevailing rate of per diem wages in the locality in which this type of work is to be performed for each craft or type of worker needed to execute the contract which will be awarded to the successful bidder.
It shall be mandatory upon the contractor to whom this contract is awarded and upon any subcontractor under him to pay not less than the said specified rates to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics employed by them in the execution of the contract.
