This Ordinance amends Ordinance No. O-19887 (New Series) entitled “An Ordinance Adopting the Annual Budget for the Fiscal Year 2010 and Appropriating the Necessary Money to Operate the City of San Diego for said Fiscal Year” by appropriating $608,626 and all current and future interest earnings from Fund No. 200410-Mission Valley Terminal Settlement Fund for the purpose of supporting Federal Court litigation efforts, continued environmental legal services, representation before the regional water quality control board and supporting technical expertise in contamination clean up.
This ordinance contains a notice that a full reading of this ordinance is dispensed with prior to its final passage, a written or printed copy having been available to the City Council and the public prior to the day of its passage.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force on the thirtieth day from and after its final passage.
A complete copy of the Ordinance is available for inspection in the Office of the City Clerk of the City of San Diego, 2nd Floor, City Administration Building, 202 C Street, San Diego, CA 92101.

PARADISE HILLS PARK PICNIC SHELTER: CITY COUNCIL APPROVAL for the construction of a new picnic shelter in the lower portion of the Paradise Hills Community Park. The picnic shelter would be a 32' X 32' hexagonal structure which includes three picnic tables. The shelter would be made of nearly all steel construction and would be secured to a poured-in-place concrete slab. Additional project features would include ADA accessibility and a small concrete path connecting the existing walkway to the picnic shelter slab. The picnic shelter slab footprint would be approximately 510 square-feet. An existing decomposed granite walkway would be top-dressed and stabilized. Three panels of existing concrete walkway would be removed and replaced with stabilized decomposed granite. Grading would occur for the foundation in six areas for the picnic structure and are not expected to exceed 5' in depth. The project also includes the construction of an approximately three foot high open perimeter fence along the edge of the park on the Potomac and Paradise Valley Road frontages. The project site is located at 6610 Potomac Street at the intersection of Paradise Valley Road and Potomac Street within the Paradise Hills Community Planning Area.
