NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, THAT THE City Council of the city of San Diego ("the City Council") and the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Diego ("The Agency") will hold a joint public hearing on May 6, 2003 at the hour of 10:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, in the City Council Chambers, 12th Floor of the City Administration Building at 202 C Street, San Diego, California, pursuant to California Community Redevelopment Law and Section 99 of the Charter of the City of San Diego, to consider adoption of resolutions relating to the approval of a Disposition and Development Agreement (DDA) for the Logan Avenue Revitalization Project. The DDA sets forth the conditions and procedures for the proposed project.
The proposed project is mixed use commercial retail and 156 units of affordable housing units locating in various non-contiguous parcels between the 2000-2400 blocks of Logan Avenue within the Barrio Logan Redevelopment Project Area. The mix of the housing units will be within the 60 and 50 percent of Area Median Income range. The units will be family oriented units consisting of one, two and three bedroom apartment units. The project development total is approximately $25,900,000.
The Final Environmental Impact Report prepared for the Barrio Logan Redevelopment Project Area has been reviewed and will be considered by the City Council and the Agency prior to approving the project. Other actions to be considered by the City Council and the Agency include: consenting the Agency to enter into a DDA; approving basic concept drawings; approving a DDA for the project.
The following documents are available for public inspection and copying during regular office hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday) at the office of the Clerk of the Redevelopment Agency, 600 B Street, Fourth Floor, San Diego, California 92101 or at the office of the City Clerk, 202 C Street, Second Floor, San Diego, California, 92101:
1. A copy of the proposed Disposition and Development Agreement.
2. A copy of the Final environmental Impact Report for the Barrio Logan Redevelopment Project Area.
3. A summary report that describes and specifies certain economic terms and conditions of the proposed agreement.
At any time before the date and time set forth above for the public hearing by the Redevelopment Agency and the City Council, written comments on or objections to the proposed DDA may be filed with the City Clerk. Comments may also be submitted during such period on the other documents referred to in this Notice. All persons wishing to question, comment, object to, or be heard on such matters at the public hearing will be given an opportunity to appear and the so heard. If you later desire to challenge actions of the Agency and/ or City Council in connection with these actions, you could be limited to raising issues that you have raised at or before the public hearing.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the City of San Diego will receive bids for work listed below. Plans and specifications can be obtained from the Engineering and Capital Projects Department, Administration Division, Executive Complex, 1010 Second Avenue, Suite 500, San Diego, California, where bids are to be submitted prior to time specified.
A pre-bid meeting and/or pre-bid visit to the work site will be held, if indicated, at the time and place specified in the contract documents. Prospective bidders are encouraged to attend these sessions.
