NOTICE OF PRELIMINARY DECISION
TO APPROVE A SOURCE OF AIR POLLUTION BY THE
SAN DIEGO COUNTY AIR POLLUTION CONTROL DISTRICT
The San Diego Air Pollution Control District has made a preliminary decision to approve an Authority to Construct for a replacement landfill gas turbine (APCD2011-APP-001621), which will be located on the same site as two other landfill gas turbines (APCD2011-APP-001198 and -001199) and will be operated at 8514 Mast Boulevard, in Santee, CA
An evaluation of the air pollution impacts of this proposal was performed by the District, and it was determined that all applicable District Rules and Regulations will be met when the equipment complies with conditions prescribed by the District. An Air Quality Impact Analysis was conducted for Carbon Monoxide (CO). Results indicate that the operation of this equipment will not result in the violation of any State or Federal ambient air quality standard, or interfere with the attainment or maintenance of any State or Federal ambient air quality standard.
The Air Quality Impact Analysis is available for review at the Air Pollution Control District, 10124 Old Grove Road, San Diego, CA 92131. Please refer to APCD2011-APP-001621 on all correspondence regarding this project. Written comments concerning the District's proposed action may be submitted for a period of 30 days, commencing April 29, 2013, and ending on May 28, 2013. The County of San Diego, Owner, invites bids for LAKESIDE SKATEBOARD PARK PROJECT; ORACLE PROJECT NO. 1017857; BID No. 5975.
Sealed bids will be received at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, at 5560 Overland Avenue, Ste. 270, San Diego, 92123, until 2:00 PM on May 23, 2013, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Contract documents including Plans, Specifications and Bid Forms are available for download on the County Buynet site: http://buynet.sdcounty.ca.gov.You must be registered at the site in order to download documents. The Contractor shall possess, at the time of submitting the bid, a California contractor's license, Classification A, General Engineering Contractor or Classification C-8, Specialty Concrete Contractor. The cost of construction is estimated to be from $447,000 to $495,000. Bid security of no less than 10% required at time of bid. Successful bidder shall provide Payment and Performance Bonds for 100% of the contract amount. Prevailing Wage rates apply.
