As a property owner, tenant, or person who has requested notice, you are hereby notified the Hearing Officer of Civic San Diego ("CivicSD") will hold a public hearing to either approve, conditionally approve, or deny an application for a Process Three Conditional Use Permit (CUP) amendment to allow an upgrade from a Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) Type 20 Off-Sale Beer and Wine License (Package Store) to a Type 21 Off-Sale General (Package Store), which includes the sale of beer, wine and distilled spirits for the CVS located at 645 Market Street, San Diego, CA, 92101, in the East Village neighborhood of the Downtown Community Plan Area. This amendment also includes modifications to the permit to reflect current conditions of approval for off-site alcohol beverage sales as identified in the Centre City Planned District Ordinance.
The decision of the CivicSD Hearing Officer is final unless appealed to the CivicSD Board of Directors. In order to appeal the decision you must be present at the public hearing and file a Speaker's Slip concerning the application or have expressed interest by writing to the Hearing Officer before the close of the public hearing. The appeal application may be obtained from CivicSD located at 401 B Street, Suite 400, San Diego, California, 92101. The appeal must be made within ten (10)
