The County of San Diego, Owner, invites sealed bids for CONSTRUCTION OF FLINN SPRINGS INTERCEPTOR I SEWER REPLACEMENT; ORACLE PROJECT NO. 1015305; BID No. 5534.

Sealed bids will be received at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, 10089 Willow Creek Road, Suite 150, San Diego, California, 92131, until 2:00 p.m. on May 29, 2012, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Contract documents including Plans, Specifications and Bid Forms are available for download at the County Buynet site: http://buynets.sdcounty.ca.gov. You must be registered at the site in order to download documents. The Contractor shall possess, at the time of submitting the bid, a California contractor's license, Classification A, General Engineering Contractor. The County's estimate for this public work project is from $1,350,000 to $1,600,000. Bid security of no less than 10% required at time of bid. Successful bidder shall provide Payment and Performance Bonds for 100% of the contract amount. Prevailing Wage rates apply. Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation of 3% is required for this project.
