The County of San Diego, Owner, invites bids for REPLACEMENT OF GUARDRAIL END SECTIONS AND INSTALLATION OF NEW GUARDRAILS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS; ORACLE PROJECT NO. 1015868; BID No. 5584.
Sealed bids will be received at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, at 10089 Willow Creek Rd, Ste. 150, San Diego, 92131, until 2:00 PM on June 12, 2012, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Contract documents including Plans, Specifications and Bid Forms are available for download on the County Buynet site: http://buynet.sdcounty.ca.gov.You must be registered at the site in order to download documents. The Contractor shall possess, at the time of submitting the bid, a California contractor's license, Classification A, General Engineering Contractor, or Classification C-13, Fencing Contractor. The cost of construction is estimated to be from $300,000.00 to $340,000.00. Bid security of no less than 10% required at time of bid. Successful bidder shall provide Payment and Performance Bonds for 100% of the contract amount. Prevailing Wage rates apply. The Owner, as a matter of policy, encourages Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation for this project.
