DEVELOPMENT AND OPERATION OF
AMERICA"S CUP HARBOR PARKING GARAGE
The San Diego Unified Port District is seeking a developer to coordinate final design and construction documents, construct, and operate a public parking facility at 4975 North Harbor Drive in the America"s Cup Harbor area of Point Loma, San Diego. The 53,144 square foot site is located on North Harbor Drive between the Best Western Yacht Harbor and Holiday Inn Bayside and across from Point Loma Marina. The fully entitled and designed project includes a four-story structure containing 345 structured parking spaces, 55 surface parking spaces and a public art feature (America"s Cup Harbor Parking Garage). A new signalized mid-block crossing is included in the design to enhance pedestrian safety and access to the waterfront. The project will require coordination with the adjacent North Harbor Drive Realignment project that will be undertaken by the District. The plans were created by International Parking Designs, Inc. (IPD) and are the approved design for the project. An Information Exchange Meeting will be held on May 31, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. in the Training Room at the Port of San Diego Administration Building located at 3165 Pacific Highway, San Diego, CA 92101. Proposals must be received no later than July 6, 2012 at 5:00 p.m.
