The County of San Diego Department of Public Works invites qualified Consultants to submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) to provide Engineering related services for inactive solid waste facilities in County of San Diego. Project services to include but not limited to preparation of landfill closure and post-closure maintenance plans; drainage facilities studies and design; preparation of construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates (PS&E); evaluation/justification for use of alternative closure cover systems; preparation of Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP); preparation and implementation of Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) plans; preparation of health and safety plans; value engineering; and assistance during the bidding process and during construction. Total cost of services not to exceed $350,000. Consultant services shall be awarded by Qualification Based Selection. Fees to be negotiated. Contract award projected for September 2003. Public Disclosure of Gifts and Campaign Contributions is required for contract award. SOQs must be received by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 4, 2003, at the following address

The County of San Diego is soliciting proposals from qualified sources to provide County with administrative parking citation disposition services pursuant to AB 408 on a two year and nine month initial terms, basis with two one-year option periods. The County intends to use structured oral presentations as the evaluation selection process for the Contractor to perform this service.
The contract period will be September 1, 2003 through June 30, 2006. The County reserves the right to exercise options for two (2) additional term(s) of up to one year each for a potential total contract term of 5 years.
There will be a pre-proposal conference June 12 at 2:00 PM. at Purchasing and Contracting, 5555 Overland Avenue Building 11, San Diego, CA 92123.
