The County of San Diego, Owner, invites sealed bids for CHASE AVENUE SLOPE REPAIR IMPROVEMENTS; ORACLE PROJECT NO. 1017880; BID No. 6018
Sealed bids will be received at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, 5560 Overland Avenue, Suite 270, San Diego, California, 92123-1294, until 2:00 p.m. on June 20, 2013 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Contract documents including Plans, Specifications and Bid Forms are available for download at the County Buynet site: http://buynets.sdcounty.ca.gov . You must be registered at the site in order to download documents. The Contractor shall possess, at the time of submitting the bid, a California contractor's license, Classification A, General Engineering Contractor. The cost of construction is estimated to be from $420,000 to $460,000. Bid security of no less than 10% required at time of bid. Successful bidder shall provide Payment and Performance Bonds for 100% of the contract amount. Prevailing Wage rates apply. The Owner, as a matter of policy, encourages the Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation for this project.
