The San Diego Unified School District will receive sealed bids for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and services for:
PARKING IMPROVEMENTS AT SCRIPPS RANCH HIGH SCHOOL
Mandatory site visit is scheduled for Thursday, June 2, 2005, starting at 9:00 a.m., at 10410 Treena Street, San Diego, CA 92131.
PLEASE SEE BID FOR DETAILS. (Bid No. C56-005-KA)
Bids will be received by the District at the Maintenance and Operations Center, 4860 Ruffner Street, San Diego, California 92111, on Thursday, June 16, 2005, at 2:00 p.m., at which time the bids will be opened and publicly read aloud. Each bid shall be in accordance with specifications, plans, and other contract documents now on file at the Contracts Management Office. Each bid shall be submitted on a bid form furnished by the District. Bid forms and other pertinent documents may be obtained from the District Contracts Management Office between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on weekdays. A deposit of $50.00 for each bid set is required. Checks for deposit will be required, made payable to the San Diego Unified School District. This deposit is refundable according to the conditions outlined in the bid documents.
Bid documents will not be faxed.
Bidders are hereby notified that pursuant to the statutes of the State of California, the director of the Department of Industrial Relations has determined the general prevailing rate of per diem wages in the locality in which this type of work is to be performed for each craft or type of worker needed to execute the contract which will be awarded to the successful bidder.
IIt shall be mandatory upon the contractor to whom this contract is awarded and upon any subcontractor under him to pay not less than the said specified rates to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics employed by them in the execution of the contract.
The San Diego Unified School District reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to accept or reject any one or more items of any bid, or to waive any irregularities, or informalities in the bids, or in the bidding.
Attention is called to the fact that a list of proposed subcontractors must be submitted with the bid.
No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date and time set for the opening of bids.
