PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This request is for collective parking and to comply with the Lakeside Design Review Guidelines. The applicant is going to demolish and rebuild a restaurant in the same location. After rebuilding, they will only have enough room for 5 of their 39 required parking spaces within their legal lot. The adjacent shopping center has 35 extra parking spaces above their required amount and agreed to allow the restaurant to use 34 spaces. There is no wall or fence in between the shopping center parking lot and the proposed restaurant. No parking reduction is required. A restaurant is classified in The Zoning Ordinance in Section 1465 as Eating and Drinking Establishment. The property is zoned C36, General Commercial Use Regulation, which allows a restaurant "by right" pursuant to Section 2362b of The Zoning Ordinance. The property is within the San Diego County General Plan Designation of (13) General Commercial. The site is also subject to the "B" Design Review Designator. This project was found in compliance with the Lakeside Design Review Guidelines as required in Section 5750 of The Zoning Ordinance.
LOCATION: The property is located at 12061 Woodside Avenue (APN 382-070-68), two properties west of Winter Gardens Boulevard, on the south side of Woodside Avenue in Lakeside Community Planning Area.
ENVIRONMENTAL STATUS:
A Negative Declaration dated March 27, 2003, has been prepared for this project and is on file at the Department of Planning and Land Use as Environmental Review Number 02-14-016. No significant environmental impacts have been identified.

The County of San Diego, is requesting fixed price bids from qualified sources to provide BILLING AND COLLECTION SERVICES FOR EMERGENCY AMBULANCE TRANSPORTS AND ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT ASSESSMENTS based upon Board of Supervisors set fees (see Exhibit D ? BOS Approved Fees Schedule), for non-resident transports and non-resident assessments only for County Service Area 69 (CSA 69). Residents of CSA 69 are assessed a benefit tax for ambulance service resulting in no fee charged for the transport or assessment of residents by a CSA ambulance. The County intends to award one contract, at lowest price (based on average net collections rate retained by contractor over the term of the contract) of responsive and responsible bidder.
Contract term will be July 1, 2003 through June 30, 2005. The County reserves the right to exercise two additional two-year options ending June30, 2009.

County of San Diego, HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES AGENCY - CHILDRENS SERVICES is requesting supervision, labor, material, and equipment to provide collection, screening and confirmation of toxicology samples for drug presence and to provide expert testimony as required for the County of San Diego, Health and Human Services Agency - Children's Services. Services shall be provided to adults or emancipated youths only, and testing services are voluntary to those individuals participating in the program. Any laboratory performing the drug testing services must currently be listed in the Federal Register as a Health and Human Services certified (SAMSHA) drug-testing laboratory.
Potential bidders are encouraged to attend a pre-bid conference on MONDAY, MAY 12, 2003, at 1:00 PM in the Administrative Conference Room, located at 6950 Levant St., San Diego 92111. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the County of San Diego will receive sealed bids until 2pm on MAY 27, 2003, at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, Bldg. 11, 5555 Overland Avenue, San Diego, CA 92123 where bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Project is the installation of new chain link fencing at a portion of the San Marcos landfill located at 1595 San Elijo Road, San Marcos, CA 92069 (RFB 30201). The first phase of the project will consist of completing fencing and gate installation at the San Marcos Landfill. The second phase will consist of installation of fencing and gates along adjacent properties to the landfill, owned by the County of San Diego.
The cost of construction is estimated to be $250,000. The Contractor or subcontractor shall possess a California contractor?s license, Classification C-13, Fencing Contractor.
The estimated quantity of fencing is approximately 9,500 linear feet of San Marcos Landfill perimeter including 1 swing gate, plus approximately 1,100 linear feet of adjacent property fencing including installation of 2 swing gates. The terrain includes steep hillsides and rocky outcroppings. Soil conditions will vary and include rock, soils with cobble, hard clay soils and/or silts. The length of fencing is indicated on the plans. All dimensions are approximate. The prospective vendor is advised to measure each fencing site prior to submitting a bid. All bidders are required to attend a pre-bid conference at the site.
A MANDATORY Pre_Bid Conference will be conducted at 10 am on May 19, 2003, at the San Marcos landfill, 1595 San Elijo Road, San Marcos, CA 92069.
