TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN THE MATTER OF:
Plaintiff, BONSALL UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT (“District”), has filed a Complaint to validate the District’s adoption of Resolution No. 14-02-02(a) approving the following:
1. The Site Lease dated February 12, 2014, entered into between the District and Erickson-Hall Construction Co., providing for the lease of real property pursuant to Education Code section 17406;
2. The Sublease Agreement dated February 12, 2014, entered into between the District and Erickson-Hall Construction Co.; and
3. The Construction Services Agreement dated February 12, 2014, entered into between the District and Erickson-Hall Construction Co. for the Sullivan Middle School/High School Remodel And Conversion Project, Phase I.
You may contest the legality or validity of this matter by appearing and filing a written answer to the Complaint not later than 31 days from May 1, 2014. Any “persons who contest the legality or validation of the matter will not be subject to punitive action, such as wage garnishment or seizure of their real or personal property.” (Code Civ. Proc., § 861.1.)
A letter or phone call will not protect you. Your typewritten answer must be in proper legal form if you want the Court to hear your case.
Unless you so answer, your default will be entered upon application by the District and the District may apply to the Court for the relief demanded in the Complaint. Persons who contest the legality or validity of the matter will not be subject to punitive action, such as wage garnishment or seizure of their real or personal property.
