Construction management firms must demonstrate working knowledge of C.D.B.G. program and have a minimum of 5 years (with 3 recent) in C.D.B.G. processing of contracts above $500K or other federally funded single family rehab experience.

The San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) is accepting bids for TRANSIT STORE SECURITY IMPROVEMENTS.
The work will consist, in general, of demolition followed by procurement and installation of security glass, laminated counters, drywall structures, painting, flooring, and electrical.
Bid documents will be available on or about June 15, 2012.

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 28, 2012; at Metropolitan Transit System 102 Broadway Avenue, San Diego, CA 92101. Sealed bids will be due on July 24, 2012 at 2:00p.m. prevailing local time, unless otherwise amended, at Metropolitan Transit System, 1255 Imperial Avenue, Suite 1000, San Diego, California 92101. Bids received after that time or at any other place other than the place stated herein will not be considered.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that La Mesa-Spring Valley School District, of San Diego County, California, acting by and through its Governing Board, hereinafter referred to as the District, will receive up to, but not later than   2:00   o'clock p.m. of  the  3rd   day of  July, 2012, sealed bids for the award of contract;

Bids shall be received in the office of the Business Services, Purchasing Department of the District at 4750 Date Avenue, La Mesa, California 91942, and shall be opened and publicly read aloud at the above-stated time and place.
 
Each bid must conform and be responsive to the contract documents.   Prospective bidders may purchase a set of bid documents, including specifications and plans, at the bid walk for a $20.00 check made payable to LMSVSD.   The cost for a set of  bid  documents is non-refundable.

Each bid shall be accompanied by the security referred to in the contract documents, the non-collusion affidavit, the list of proposed subcontractors, and all additional documentation required by the Instructions to Bidders.
 
In contracts involving an expenditure in excess of $25,000.00, Civil Code Section 3247 (a), the successful bidder shall file a payment bond issued by an admitted Surety approved to conduct business in the State of California approved by the Owner in the form set forth in the contract documents.
 
The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding.
 
The Director of Industrial Relations has determined the GENERAL PREVAILING RATE OF PER DIEM WAGES in the locality in which this work is to be performed for each craft or type of worker needed to execute the contract which will be awarded to the successful bidder, copies of which are available to any interested party on request by contacting the Director of Industrial Relations, telephone number (415) 703-4774 or at www.dir.ca.gov.                                     
 
It shall be mandatory upon the Contractor to whom the contract is awarded, and upon any subcontractor under him, to pay not less than the said specified rates to all workers employed by them in the execution of the contract.

Family Health Centers of San Diego (owner) invites sealed bids from Modular Building Companies for providing complete design, permitting, and construction of a 2,120 square foot triple wide modular facility.

The project budget of $424,464 is 100% funded by Affordable Care Act Grants for School-Based Health Centers Capital Program. Davis Bacon and Related Acts wage requirements do not apply.

Interested Modular Building Companies may obtain the plans, forms of proposals, bonds, contract special provisions, and specifications via email from briant@fhcsd.org after 12:00pm PDT on June 11, 2012.

A mandatory site visit/job meeting with the owner representative will be held at the job site located at 915 4th Avenue; Chula Vista, CA on June 12, 2012 at 2:00pm PDT, to review project, construction administration procedures, existing site conditions, construction access, staging areas, safety and protection.
