Notice is hereby given that the San Diego County Water Authority (“Water Authority”) is accepting proposals for the following:

Request for Proposals: As-Needed Appraisal Services, 2008-04


Proposals must be received by the Water Authority on or before 4:00 p.m.,
Wednesday, June 25, 2008.
Copies of the solicitation document can be picked up at the Water Authority’s San Diego Office, 4677 Overland Avenue, San Diego, CA 92123 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, or may be viewed upon registration with The Network, the Water Authority’s free online vendor system, at www.sdcwa.org/register.html.
Pre-Proposal Meeting: Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in the Board Room of the San Diego County Water Authority at the address stated above

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS

The County of San Diego, Owner, invites bids for (4) JOB ORDER CONTRACTS AS FOLLOWS: JOC #121, PAVING, $3,000,000 maximum capacity (RFB 3074); JOC #122, LARGE GENERAL CONTRACTING, $3,000,000 maximum capacity (RFB 3075); JOC # 123, FLOORING, $1,000,000 maximum capacity (RFB 3076); and JOC # 124, SMALL GENERAL CONTRACTING, $1,000,000 maximum capacity (RFB 3077).

These solicitations include a two-step process; prequalification followed by sealed bid. Prequalification packages are available at the office of Purchasing and Contracting, 10089 Willow Creek Rd., Suite 150, San Diego, California, 92131 or on the County Buynet site, http://buynet.sdcounty.ca.gov. Prequalification packages are due at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting on or before JUNE 17, 2008 by 4:00 p.m. Sealed bids will be accepted from prequalified bidders only at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting on the following dates: RFB 3074 and RFB 3075 on JULY 8, 2008, 2:00 PM; RFB 3076 and RFB 3077 on JULY 15, 2008, 2:00 PM; at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bid Security in the amount of $25,000.00 is required at time of sealed bid. Bidding documents will be available at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting for a non-refundable cost of $25.00 per set to prequalified bidders. An outreach/pre-bid meeting is scheduled for JUNE 10, 2008, 10:00 AM, at the County Operations Center, Building 10, Conference Room, 5555 Overland Avenue, San Diego, California, 92123 for the purpose of discussing the JOC concept and explain bidding and contracting procedures, and to review project conditions and requirements and to answer questions. Successful bidder shall provide Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of the maximum capacity identified for each specific JOC. Prevailing Wage rates apply. As a matter of policy, Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation is encouraged.
